Trinidad. Elevation: ca. 160 meters.
Semi-aquatic herb, with swollen,
floating stems. Occasional. Corolla:
white, 5-merous with 3 larger and 2
small petals. Fruits present.
Habitat: a floating mat of aquatic
vegetation, dominated by
Eichhornia azurea and E.
crassipes. Location: the S.W. end of
the system; center of the collecting
area S.14053'22" X W.64053'22"
