Emergent herb. Fairly common
locally. Growing on the floating
mat, at times with its stems
incorporated into the mat. Flowers
white. Fruits present. Habitat:
floating mat along the edge of the
basin. Composed of a mixture of
species, primarily Oxycaiyum
cubense, Eleocharis acutangula,
Leersia hexandra and Hymenachne sp.
