Mowed ungrazed grassy areas and gravelly roadbank, with
many introduced Eurasian weeds. Lotus corniculatus,
Melilotus albus, Daucus carota, Sonchus arvensis,
Hypochaeris radicata.
Erect herb 1.2 m. tall. Flowers white, in an inflorescence
many but not all of them with a dark purple flower in the
center.
