Ascomata gregarious, obconical, erumpent-superficial, about
1 mm« diam., subo1ivac eous outside, the subundulate margin and
dull reddish disk white-pruinose; texture loose and soft. Asei
narrow-elavate, paraphysate, 70-75 x 6 n. Hporidia biseriate,
fusoid, hyaline, continuous, 15-20 x 2 u, slightly curved, con-
tinuous. Recognized by its reddish disk and fusoid sporidia.
On dead birch lirabs.
Tyue locality: Orono, Maine. (F. L. Harvey).
