Terrace, floodplain of Mississippi River; the Park was
created on old ponds and mounds from alluvial gravel and
sand extraction decades ago, now completely surrounded by
very flat crop fields. Dry gravelly and sandy area, partly
calcareous. Scattered trees and groves of Populus deltoides,
Morns alba.
Erect, viscid.
