Habitat
Scattered, not common, on steep wooded slopes in a big gulley, often amongst colonies of Strobilanthes. Occasionally on mossy rocks.

Description
Flowers large, purplish pink in five heads. (much larger than the form obtained in the Adung Valley in 1931). Scattered, not common.
