Submontane, tropical dry forest. Mixed forest and Quercus oleoides. Gregarious. On soil.

Description
See original description by Baroni & Halling. Subtomentose pileus flame red to flame orange. Mild odor and taste. Lamellae whitish at first, then pinkish flesh color. Stipe fibrous, concolorous with lamellae, crowded, with even edges, not marginate. Stipe ±equal to slightly broader below, dry, fibrillose with white rhizomorphs, with white solid interior. Phenology of specimen: Basidiomata.
