along partial shaded margin of plant nursery or garden on
modified soils originally mapped as deep, well drained,
calcareous, moderately alkaline silt loam Typic Ustifluvents
(Rio Grande series), on +/- flat agricultural landscape on
delta of the Rio Grande, S side of warehouse at Southmost
Preserve, ca. 1.0 airmiles SE of jet. F. M. 1419 (Southmost
Road) and F. M. 3068 (Indiana Ave.), at N25°5ri4.5”,
W097°23’54.0”. Southmost Quadrangle. Elev. 20-25 ft.
Associates included Calyptocarpus vialis, Chamaesyce nutans, C.
prostrata, Clematis drummondii, Eriochloa sp., Gaura parviflora,
Lepidium austrinum, Malvastrum coromandelianum, Oenothera laciniata,
0. speciosa, Ruellia runyonii, Sida abutifolia, Sporobolus pyramidatus,
Verbena halei.
