Dice randra fumella Huck
Growing along sandy, unpaved road, scraped, with piles
of sand on both sides of road. Pollinated by bees, also
black robber bees active. Disturbed pineland area.
Plants with pink and white corollas on different
plants. Area of presumed hybridization with D.
linearifolia var. robustior. Old Mill Road, off FL 77, north
of Wausau, Washington Co., FI. September
