“center” of Gotham, 0.3 km (by air) NE of junction with
Wisconsin River.
43°12’42”N, 90°18’10”W. alt. 181 m.
Thin, irregular stand of Gleditsia triacanthos, Quercus bicolor,
Fraxinus pensylvanica, Betula nigra, Acer saccharinum.
Shrub with many arching branches to 3 m. long, from the bank
and leaning out over river, spontaneous but rare in this habitat,
only a few others seen. Fruit bright red-orange.
