GUYANA. Kako River vicinity, above Kako Village, near Camp 3, ca.
22 air km east of Tulameng summit (summit 1534m, N 5033'27.r', W
60°59'34.7"). 521 m 5°34'25.1"N 60°47'47.3"W. Brocchina and
Stegolepis savanna with drier shrub islands around rock outcrops. Shrub
to lm. Young branches peach/salmon. Infructescence axillary,
racemose. Calyx green, corolla white. Silica sample. Adjacent to
savanna collected on July 1, but separated by a creek and scrub buffer.
