exudate This tree can be used to make a type of
local glue by squeezing the seeds and using the
sap for its sticky properties.
leaf If a person is in danger of dying, squeeze 1
handful of leaves held in a Macaranga sp. leaf
into a tablespoon and give this lx to resuscitate
the person.
stem This plant can be used to start a fire by tak-
ing a small stick against a larger one to heat up
some dry material and start a fire.
