Canopy doainated by stunted Magnolia grandiflora, Persea borbonia, and Quercus laurifolia, with a patchy dense shrub layer of Oallicarpa americana, Ilex voaitoria, Buaelia lanuginosa, Vaccinius arboreua, Forestiera ligustrina, and Chionanthus virginicus.
