LIBERTY CO.: Apalachicola National Forest, by
FL route 12, opposite the ANF work facility, S of
Bristol. Frequent in a bog elevated above the
surrounding pine flatwoods. Some associates:
Aristida stricta, A. palustris, Ilex myrtifolia, I.
glabra, I. coriacea, scattered small Pinus
palustris and P. elliottii, Smilax laurifolia,
Magnolia virginiana var. australis, Hypericum
fasciculatum, Sporobolus floridana, Tridens
ambiguous, Myrica cerifera, Cirsium lecontei,
Eriocaulon decangulare, Helianthus
angustifolius, Balduina uniflora, Bigelowia
nudata, Panicum scoparium, Andropogon
gyrans var. stenophyllus, Eupatorium mohrii.
