deep, well drained, slightly acid loamy fine sand (Silstid
Series, Arenic Paleustalfs) on level upland underlain by
Carrizo Sand, along both sides of major NW-SE road on
Hoppy Springs Tract, just upslope from W edge of Alum
Creek floodplain, ca. 1.2 airmiles SSE of jet. St. Rt. 21 and
F. M. 1441 NE of Bastrop, atN30°08'14.5”, W097°12’51.6”.
Bastrop State Park. Smithville NW Quadrangle. Elev. 420-
