Habitat: ' Climbing1 on tree ax edge of citrus
plantation. Shrubby vegetation on steep
side of the gorge. c.1,300m. alt.
Notes	Branches to 3m. long but plant
growing at least 5m. up tree. No basal
swellings evident. Flowers scarlet with
bright scarlet pedicels and calyx with paler
tips to calyx lobes. Corolla tube with
double constriction, white in upper third and
scabrid outside, becoming pink on falling,
the lobes erect except the very tips which
reflex horizontally. Bracteoles greenish,
• bracts green, inconspicuous.
