Terrestrial; stipes blackish. Semideciduous forest on low limestone
hill, canopy ca. 25 m tall with emergents to 35 m, with Schizolobium,
Acacia, Aspidosperma. [Belize Ecosystem: Tropical evergreen
seasonal broadleaf submontane forest over calcareous soils].
