NW-facing slope of small valley, between cultivated fields
below and young woods above, with Populus
grandidentata, P. tremuloides, Quercus rubra, Q.
ellipsoidalis, Q. alba, Acer rubrum, Ostrya virginiana,
Carya ovata.
Tree 12 m. tall, 25 cm. in diameter. Voucher for wood
specimen, MADw. Staminate; all flowers just past anthesis
(compare with nearby tree, Nee 62080, which is still in
anthesis).
