Notes: Big open depression (holding water after recent rains)
in grassy plain. Red clayey silty soil.
Frequent on drying margins of depression. Also Cyperus iria
(10426); Schoenoplectus laevis (10428) slightly farther down
slope in wetter situation; Fimbristylis dichotoma sens. lat.
nearby on slightly higher, dry plain with low grasses (Iseilema,
etc.) and chenopods.
