On ridge approaching Bronx River on the path to Hester Bridge north side of path in small fairly open grasy area along with Oxalis, Juncus and various Poaceae, under Quercus, Prunus, Liquidambar.

Flowers blue-purple with yellow parts around stamens, no odor. Phenology of specimen: Flower and Fruit.
