    Dry sclerophyll. Allocasuarina. Gregarious. On living tree bark.

  • Description

    Pileus 3-8 cm broad, convex to plano-convex, dry, medium coarsely scaly or rarely finely scaly with scales ochre colored and red between scales at first and with age, but some scales on sterile marginal veil appressed and red. Flesh yellow, quickly cyanescent. Tubes adnexed, yellow, cyanescent. Stipe 7 cm long, 6-10 mm broad, equal and slightly broader at base, mostly whitish to pale tan with some red at apex and a flush near base, with interior pale yellow in apex and canescent, white below and staining brownish orange on exposure.
