Cultivated ornamental, a common native in Santa Cruz region but seldom seen as a street tree, and unusual to bloom while so young. Trunk 2.5 m tall, 20 cm. in diameter, unusual for this species. [See herbarium label for extended description[. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
