On southwest-facing slope along intermittent stream
flowing west into the Savannah River; mesic; open
understory; hardwood canopy; in small clearing.

Site #15 (Lat. 34o04'15M; Long. 82°37,47"), about
1/3 mile south of S. C. 72 and 1/3 mile east of
the Savannah River. Below the 475-ft. contour
(full pool for proposed Russell Lake).
