Liberty County: By Florida Road 65 through
Apalachicola National Forest, 4.7 miles N of
Wilma. Specimen from a virtually pure and
thick stand, growing in sterile, very well-
drained sand on a broad right-of-way next to
but not in a well-drained pineland. plants
of this species locally but very abundantly
naturalized "across the top of Florida.”
