from FL Rt. 379 at Rowlett's Creek. Saw palmetto,
longleaf pine, wiregrass flatwoods. Apalachicola
National Forest. Flowers bright violet-magenta;
locally common somewhat glaucous herb. Flowering
later than usual due to late summer fire.
