    On open rocky exposures, wet open boggy ground and forested slopes, in boggy ground of valley. Dominated by two species of Schefflera, Podocarpus, Ilex retusa, Psychotria jauense, Myriocladus, and Marahuacaea.

    Tree 15 m tall, leaves green above, silvery below, flowers buff-creamy. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
