Ca. 140-200 m. Dry forest and thorn scrub
on dogtooth limestone, hilly terrain,
discontinuous canopy, emergents to 15 m.
Tree to 15 m, bark dark browi,, somewhat
papery, also shed in plates; inflorescence
and buds cream. Frequent locally, “black
birch“
