Unshaded grassy roadside, seldom mowed, with typical weeds,
many introduced from Eurasia, in rich, disturbed soils of the area.
With Thladiantha dubia (first collection in Wisconsin), Physalis
longifolia, Solarium carolinense, Verbena hastata, Setaria glauca,
S. faberi, Chenopodium album', Amaranthus hybridus,
Parlhenocissus inserta, Achillea millefolium, Ambrosia
artemisiifolia, A. trifida, Cichorium intybus, Echinocystis lobata,
Polygonum scandens, Saponaria officinalis, Asclepias syriaca,
Daucus carpta, Heracleum lanatum, Pastinaca saliva, Plantago
cf. rugelii.
