Description
Particularly massive basidiomata: up to 16 x 3 cm stipe, 12 cm pileus barely expanded. Characteristic tan felty patches on pileus on some. Yellow flesh in cap immediately cyanescent. Cyanescence extending into upper third of stipe, then white below and slowly brownish orange oxidation in white areas and to base. Exterior of stipe white, with brownish orange stains with handling.
