Pastured slope with Poa, Ambrosia artemisiifolia.
Trifolium repens. Inflorescence purplish, at
maturity easily breaking at the base of the
peduncle and the whole inflorescence blowing
away. The plant easily confused with
Eragrostis spectabilis with which it grows; both
have a similarly purple inflorescence which
forms "tumble-weeds". Voucher for bulk
medicinal screening by Pfizer: 43849a PX (Nee-
537).
