Habitat
Open deforested slope with small patches of scrub in the draws.

Description
Tree 3 m. Lvs. dark green, nitid above; bright green, subnitid below. Perianth greenish-yellow. Filaments at first white, then pink, and lastly deep red. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
