Habitat
Open scrub on white sand with damp areas and extensive sedge meadow. Partly burnt over.

Description
Shrub to 2 m. Barl greyish, leaves mid-green. Corolla bright mauve-purple, stamens purple, style pink with pale yellow stigma. Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Flower.
