Common on relatively dry sandy soil of the Dunkerque-Catherine mangrove; commune of Ste. Anne; arid zone. In the vicinity: one of the four common mangroves; restricted to the landward and drier parts on either sand or clay. Field character: 2 rows of dots on leaves.
Deposited at the New York Botanical Garden to authenticate ecological studies of this West indian Island made during the summer of 1939.<<<OCR
