Partly shaded by trees, more or less dry soil of mixed
origin.
Herb, up to 50 cm high, lower parts becoming woody. Branches reddish green, young parts shining. Leaves dark green with thin purple margin, lower side whitish Perigone white with lilac stripes; filaments and pistil whitish; anthers yellow. Fruits green with purple red ribs, somewhat shiny, not sticky.
