    Tree. Tree 8 m x 55 cm, branching dense and tortuous from 2 m, outer bark broadly and deeply fissured, dark gray, thick, inner bark pale tan; resin milky and viscous. Fruits essentially globose but usually slightly 2-5-lobed yellow, pyrenes somewhat bony. Edge. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
