Sclerophyll. Syncarpia glomulifera. Solitary. On living tree bark.

Description
Pileus 8 cm broad, with flattened coarse scales, tan to brown. Flesh yellow, cyanescent. Tubes dark yellow, cyanescent, with pores reddish brown and cyanescent. Stipe 11 x 1 cm, curved, dry, tan, with a bit of yellow and pink at apex, fibrillose striate, with yellow cyanescent flesh. Spores with cross striae on ribs (examined 8 July 2010, NY).
