Description
Herb, to 50 cm tall; stem angular, ridges; leaves 7 cm long, entire, cauline, alternate, obovate with cuneate base and obtuse tip, light green; inflorescence terminal cymes, flowers typically pea-shaped with rust brown spots outside and yellow inside, 4-5 cm across; fruit bean, black, round cross section, 2 cm long, hanging down.
