Cuphea aspera Chapman
FI. South. U.S. 135.1860.
From protologue: Florida: Gulf Co.:
"St. Josephs", [collector A. W. Chapman s.n.]
This specimen distributed by Biltmore Herbarium was probably
collected by Chapman much later than his 1860 publication. The Chapman
herbarium relating to this publication were sent to Columbia College
in 1876, this was probably not part of the original herbarium.
