  • Description

    Pileus 7.5 cm broad, plano-convex, with flattened tan colored felty scales, with pale red showing between, with appendiculate veil fragments at margin. Flesh bright yellow, immediately cyanescent. Tubes adnexed, yellow, cyanescent, with pores a pale brownish. Stipe 10 cm x 1.2 cm, equal to slightly broader at base, strict, dry, tomentose above, appressed fibrillose striate below, with a red zone at apex, dull and pale glaucous below that, whitish to pale tan further below, white at base, staining brownish orange within at base and on surface, pale glaucous greenish at apex and downward.
