United States of America. New York. Bronx Co. The New York Botanical Garden, SE section of the Garden, ca 265 m east of the Bronx River and ca 425 m N of Pelham Parkway/Fordham Road/US.

Habitat

Fallow ground grown into forest of native and foreign trees.

Description

Tree, the trunk leaning, ca 5 m tall, ca 12 cm diam; bark brown, rough, just becoming furrowed and cracked at the base; young branches green and smooth. Not evident whether planted or spontaneous, but probably the latter. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
