Forest remnants, plantations 10-20 years old of native and exotic trees on abandoned sugar cane field/pasture, and marshy to dry pasture; heavy clay soil.

Erect, inflorescence tan. Small, local population in wet open area near water. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
