Twining shrub with very slender herbaceous
stems and woodier thicker stems below. Leaves
thinly coriaceous, dark green above, glaucous
beneath. Bracteoles and calyx pale green
tinged red. Standard pale greyish mauve on
outer surface. Bright purple within with
white blaze at base of limb, wings spreading
from the junction of claw and limb blue
purple. Keel purple. Anthers golden yellow.
