picnic area (Condor Peak IS* Q.: 34¦17'06HN, 118¦13'3r'W,
¦100m; T2N R13W S3, N center). Alt.: 580m/1903ft. Station
Fire burn of 2009, cyn. bottom along flowing stream, greyish
sandy-loam; Alnus/Salix woodland, dominants incl. Alnus
rhombifolia, Typha, Arundo, Salix lasiolepis, Artemisia
dougiasiana, Cyperus eragrostis, Ailanthus, Nicotiana glauca, and
Baccharis salicifolia. Many plants swept into prostrate stature by
recent flooding during summer storm.
Scarce, cut at ground level.
