1300 m 8°21S; 115°26E. Cloud forest in ravines,
canopy 15-25 m tall, dominants include, Engelhardia,
Nauclea, Wendlandia, and Schima.
Canopy tree 20 m tall, branching midway up; bole
straight, cylindrical, 15 cm dbh; bark light gray,
rough; leaf stipules subrhomboidial, reddish,
inflorescence bracts reddish acute; infructescence
brown.
