Gulch, 1/2 mile south of Puu Iki, edge of
thicket of Leucaena, 1,400 ft. alt., shrubs 1 -
2 m tall, erect, flowering on weak ascending
laterals, blades above dark green, below
greenish White, calyx green, in bud sharply
angled towards the top, corolla pale yellow, at
base slightly margined with maroon and short
streaked likewise. Flowers preserved in
alcohol.
