forest, with Veratrum lobelianum, Cacalia
sibirica, Geum strictum, Campanula spp.

tremula—Pinus sibirica—P. sylvestris
forest (rarely burned and grazed) with
boreal forest (N-slope) and montane meadow
(S-slope) vegetation. Assoc, spp.: Crepis
hastata, Aconiturn septentrionale (A.
excelsum), A. barbatum, Anemone narcissiflora,
Dianthus superbus, Saussurea parviflora,
Ledum palustre, Vaccinium vitis-idea,
Zigadenus sibiricus. Top of ridge E of
lookout. Alt. ca. 770m (2600’)
S-end of Primorskii Range: CHERSKI PEAK,
overlooking confluence of Angara River with
Lake Baikal (above Sanitarium), ca. 2 km
E of LISTVYANKA.
