1*1 overs yellow. Tree columnar, diam. 6-7 in.;
ht. 25 ft.. Crown small. Leaflets coriaceous,
marginate, strongly reclinate, slightly folded
along midrib. Latex extremely yellow ("the yel-
lowest I have seen in Hevea'1), thick, abundant.
Bark grey and yellowish outside, white inside,
smoothish, thin, soft. Tree tapped.' In caatinga,
Rio Negro, vicinity of Piedra de Cocui.
