Maerkang on road to Dazang Xiang (and Dazang Si) on S side of
Xinggu Yakou (Xinggu Pass) along tributary of Jiaomuzhu He.
31°58'37"N, 102°17'41"E; 3250 m. Remnant forest of Salix,
Betula, Sorbus, Prunus and occasional Acer and Picea, with
Clematoclethra, Lonicera and Cotoneaster and scattered evergreen
Rhododendron. Moist, rich soil at edge of forest. Fronds clustered
at apex of erect rhizome.
