Huayacocotla, Veracruz, Mexico, 28 April 1983. K. Taylor & M. Nee 104 Viscid decumbent herb, 40 cm. tall, 1 m. wide. Odor of leaves and stem faintly objectionable. Bracts and calyxes purple tinged. Corolla purple, fragrant, bilabiate, with a yellow band extending from the base of the throat to the edge of the lower lip, the two lobes of the upper lip with darker purple blotches.
