Cemetery, about 1.1 miles northwest of Hancock
County line. Elevation 200-220 feet. Acidic peaty
humus over glacial till: sand, gravel, granitic - gneissic
boulders.
Mixed mesic forest and swamp, dominants included
Tsuga canadensis, Pinus strobus, Abies balsamea,
Picea rubens, Fraxinus, Acer. Local on shaded
granite boulder in shallow, moist humus.
